Nazli and Marty got married and everything about their wedding was perfect! First off, the sun was out and the weather was gorgeous. It may have been the most beautiful day of the year thus far! Second, it was a brunch wedding, and we all know how I feel about brunch weddings! Third, it was a backyard wedding, which is awesome. Fourth, the details and colors were spectacular! Fifth, the ceremony was officiated by my college roommate’s then-boyfriend (and I didn’t know this going into it, crazy!), who is one of Nazli’s best friends from high school. I just love small world stories, so I was psyched! And finally, it was just a warm, happy, wonderful day on which two of the nicest people ever got married to each other. Now… for some photos!
Nazli got ready in her parents’ house. She couldn’t stop smiling. When I saw how happy she was, I knew it was going to be an awesome day. Also, how much do you love her shoes and short dress?
After their adorable first look, Nazli and Marty wanted to take photos with the piano, which was awesome. They even played it!
The ceremony was outside the house and was short and sweet. I may have teared up a little.
After the ceremony we took group photos of the wedding party and Nazli & Marty’s band. I love the color of the bridesmaids’ dresses.
I wasn’t planning to take this photo, but when I saw the light I was like “You guys! You need to go over there so I can take a photo of you under the flags!” I really love this photo, mainly because it’s quiet amidst a really busy cocktail hour (there were people all around me, and all around them, but you can’t tell because Nazli and Marty are so connected with each other in the moment).
Nazli’s parents’ garage was set up like a lounge. There were all sorts of lovely details, a vinyl DJ, and a bar.
The reception details were beautiful – I love the succulents!
Like I mentioned, it was a brunch wedding, my favorite thing ever. There was a crepe station!!!!
Congrats to Nazli & Marty – your wedding was awesome and so are you!
