Kelly and Andrew got married last weekend at the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation (right down the street from my studio!). It was a beautiful summer day, and perfect in every way, full of personal touches and creativity. I started the day off with Kelly at the hotel where she was getting ready with her bridesmaids.
From there we headed to Landry Park in Waltham, which is right outside the museum. The wedding ceremony was short and sweet! I love how happy Kelly looks walking down the aisle after tying the knot! Thanks to my second shooter Heather for a couple of the ceremony shots below! After the ceremony, we spent some time taking group shots and photos of Kelly and Andrew.Kelly and Andrew decided to practice their awesome first dance (more on that later!) while we were taking photos outside the museum. We took some photos on a cute little bridge near the park. I love the photo of Kelly and Andrew on the bridge while the kids are walking by. Too funny. Here are a few photos we took inside the museum. Kelly and Andrew really wanted to take a “noir” photo inside the museum’s telephone booth. I love when my couples’ have cool ideas for photos – keeps me on my toes, and leads to some really different work!Kelly and Andrew also wanted a “cast photo” shot of the wedding party, as though they were the cast of a sitcom. So funny! That’s the last photo in this series – I think it could totally pass for a cast photo! So Kelly and Andrew had an absolutely epic first dance choreographed. The coolest thing about it? Not a single person (aside from Kelly, Andrew, me, and their friend who was going to take a video of it) knew that it was going to happen! It was so awesome – how much do you love the big finale? Also awesome were the centerpieces that Kelly and Andrew made – they were all different, and totally fit in with the museum. Even more awesome? PIZZA BUFFET FOR DINNER. Amazing.Congrats Kelly and Andrew! Thanks for sharing your wedding day with us – we had so much fun!
