K & W got married on an absolutely beautiful Saturday in Boston. There was the threat of rain, and I arrived at the wedding with umbrellas and nerves hoping that the weather would cooperate since K & W had such a lovely day planned! I met up with K at the Park Plaza where she was getting ready (and where her cousin was totally passed out on the bed; I think this first photo may be one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken). K was totally radiant. K looked so gorgeous that on our way to the first look, someone on the street asked us if it was a real wedding or a photo shoot!
K & W had their first look in the Public Garden, after which we headed off to take some photos of K & W feeding the ducks, which is something they do every weekend! We then headed over to the bridge for some photos. Did you notice that it’s not raining at all? After taking a bunch of photos, it was time for the ceremony! And guess what! The sun came out! It was glorious. It was an intimate gathering where K & W’s guests stood in a circle around them to closely experience the emotional ceremony. Thanks to my second shooter Linda for some of the shots of the ceremony below!
When the ceremony was over, we walked up to Acorn Street (the most photographed street in Boston, as K told me on the wedding day!) to take some more photos! We then headed to The Hampshire House where we took some photos on an amazing spiral staircase. My apologies for showing so many – I just couldn’t decide which to feature since I love them all so much. K & W are so romantic! The reception was… wait for it… a BRUNCH! How awesome is that? There is nothing better in this world than brunch! It was a nice, elegant, and relaxing way for K & W to celebrate with their friends and family. And there was stuffed french toast. Enough said.Congrats K & W!
