Jaime and Jesse got married on a lovely fall day last weekend. Jaime and Jesse rule – they were the last wedding of the season, but were also the first to book me for the season. Needless to say I had a lot of time to get psyched up for the wedding, which wasn’t a hard thing to do because Jaime and Jesse are both amazing people. Special thanks to my second shooter Linda for some of the photos below, and to Courtney for all of her help!
I started off the day at Jaime’s mother’s house where Jaime and her wedding party were getting ready.
After everyone’s makeup was finished, Jaime headed upstairs to put on her dress and veil.
We then all piled into a trolley to go to St. Catherine of Siena in Norwood for the wedding ceremony!
After the ceremony, we headed to Bird Park in Walpole to take photos. One thing that I love about Jaime and Jesse is that they were really into their wedding photos! They allowed for tons of time for photographs to be taken, and at no point did we feel rushed. I also love that Jaime and Jesse chose to have all of their wedding activities close to one another! No location was more than a five minute drive from the next location, which made for a pleasant and relaxing day for all involved. I also love that Jaime and Jesse enjoyed having their photos taken, and Bird Park was such a great location! My assistant Courtney said it reminded her of Narnia!
We also took the wedding party photos at Bird Park. I love the color of the dresses – so fall! Despite the weather’s predicting a 0% chance of rain that day, it managed to rain while we were photographing the wedding party. Weird! We cut the wedding party photos a bit short, while Jaime (protected by Linda’s holding the reflector over her) and Jesse remained on hand to take photos.
After the photos were complete, we headed to the Four Points Sheraton in Norwood for the cocktail hour and reception. This first set of images contains photos from the cocktail hour and early part of the reception, including the bustling, food, crazy sunglasses that light up!, first dance, and parent dances.
And now for the epic dancing montage! This was the hardest blog post I’ve ever had to do – too many awesome dancing photos! This wedding was SO. MUCH. FUN. I really wanted to jump on the dance floor and join in! Yet another reason to love Jaime and Jesse – they were right there on the dance floor with their guests for a majority of the night. There’s nothing I love more than a bride and groom who are having a great time at their wedding!!
After much dancing, it was time for the last dance and a big group hug!
Congratulations Jaime and Jesse! It was an honor sharing your special day with you, and thank you so much for allowing me to end my 2010 wedding season on such a high note!
