Carolyn and Matt got married last weekend at the Harvard Museum of Natural History, which is a super cool venue for a wedding! As a former scientist, I was pretty psyched to photograph the museum, and to photograph people interacting with the museum! Special thanks to my assistants Shawn and Renee for all of their help, and some of the shots seen below!
When we arrived at the museum, Carolyn was hidden away in the Climate Change Exhibit. I totally love the photos of Carolyn in front of the Earth is Heating Up wall.
The ceremony was held in the Gem and Mineral exhibit. Carolyn was radiant, and there was a great physics joke written into the ceremony.
After the ceremony, we snuck away to steal some photos of Carolyn and Matt in the museum. Carolyn and Matt’s favorite fossil is the giant sloth, so we headed there first! I was most excited about the fish exhibit – how awesome is that color?
Here are some of my favorite shots from the cocktail hour and reception.
At the end of the reception, we all went back to the Gem and Mineral room where Carolyn’s father made a toast, and then Carolyn and Matt cut the cake!
Congratulations Carolyn and Matt, and thanks for having us at your cool science wedding!
